1942 - 2021

Charles Bonner (C.B.) Etheridge, 78, passed away after a short illness on January 6, 2021 at The Park Assisted Living Facility in Hatboro, Pennsylvania.

Born November 9, 1942 in Upland, Pennsylvania, Chuck lived a full life. Growing up in Media, Pennsylvania and Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, CB assisted his parents in their place of business, the Imperial Coffee Shop. After graduating from high school, CB pursued an Education degree from Kings' College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

He enjoyed a 35-year career teaching junior high History in the Wissahickon and Bristol Turnpike School Districts. He loved all his students and took pride in teaching them about historians and history. He was a lover of European and Russian history, and traveled frequently, including trips to Russia.

CB was also an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling to Savannah in the summers to visit his family and friends.

CB was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hyland Etheridge and Eunice Mildred Joyner Etheridge, formerly of Savannah, Georgia. He is survived by many cousins in Savannah, Georgia and Florida.

Due to the Covid-19 virus, a graveside cemetery led by his cousin, the Reverend Cecil F. Gray, will be postponed until summer 2021. CB will be buried in his family funeral plot in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Savannah, where he will rest in peace beside his parents.
